This 560SL is exceptionally original with the correct VIN stickers on the body panels we checked. It is an original California version verified by the 494 code on the data tag. There is copy of the AutoCheck report on this car pictured below. It it totally clean and shows no accident history. The low original mileage is verified not only by the condition of the car, but also the clear Ohio title showing the mileage as "Actual." This Mercedes is verified as "numbers matching" meaning the engine in the car is the correct and original unit that was installed in the factory. It is especially rare, but this 560SL has the "vehicle data card" from the Mercedes factory, which is pictured below. It shows the original engine number to be "117967 12 040590." We have checked the engine and confirmed that same engine number stamped on the left side of the engine block. All of the paint and trim codes are also correct and match the vehicle data card and the data tag by the radiator. This 560SL looks outstanding, runs great, and is and awesome driver.
