Sales instantly increased, jumping up 25% to 163,300 units. The top of the line model for 1966 was the Nova SS, with sportier styling, powerful V-8, and better suspension. The 1966 Nova SS you see here is in immaculate condition, and draws crowds like moths to a flame. The beautiful Bahama Blue paint is amazing, and the body is arrow straight. The transmission is an automatic three speed handing off power to a GM 10 bolt rear axle. Braking duties are handled by discs in front and drums in the rear.
