The Electra 225 Custom was Buick’s top-of-the-line offering in 1965. It represents a luxury sport coupe that is very fitting of the era, brimming with style and loaded with power accessories. And at a whopping 225” in length (almost 19 feet) the “deuce and a quarter” represents proportions and styling from a golden era. The white paint and Buick trim give an elegant look that masks the car's true dimensions. The crisp body lines and “W” front end are very sharp features as well. This example is in wonderful condition, having a very straight body and one repaint along with exceptional chrome and brightwork. The underside is solid without any rust issues. The engine is Buick’s “445 Wildcat” displacing 401 cubic inches and producing 325hp. This is mated to a Buick Super Turbine 400 3-speed automatic transmission.
