Years ahead of it's time, this sleek fast-backed wide bodied five passenger coupe set the design trend for the remainder of the sixties and into the seventies. Powered by the AMC 270hp 327 CiD 4 barrel backed up by a "Flash-O-Matic" automatic transmission this sporty two door had plenty of power but remained rather obscure until the relatively radical design made it a favorite amongst period collectors. The black vinyl and fabric interior features bucket seats with a center console, AM/FM radio, in dash clock, a swing away tissue dispenser and never forget the infamous American Motors fully reclining seats.
