Used 2012 BMW 535i xDrive AWD Sport Package Bearing Noise - cars & for sale in Naperville, IL

2012 BMW 535i xDrive AWD with 176k miles. The car runs and drives but has bearing noise when it goes over 3k rpm’s. The car is knocking so will need an engine rebuild or a new engine put in. The car has a clean Carfax along with over 21 service records. Clean title 3-owner vehicle. It is loaded with Sport Package and Cold-Weather Package, Sport leather heated front seats, heated rear seats, heated mirror, aux, power trunk, etc.

Runs and drives but I wouldn’t drive it far until noise is diagnosed by a professional. The car starts every time with no issues starting and idles with no odd noises or hiccups. Can send video if needed. The car has no check engine lights or any other odd dash lights. Has a few side marker bulbs out so there are those messages up on the dash. Drives straight and just fine but when driving over 3k rpm there is bearing noise coming from the engine bay. I have yet had a shop look at it nor interested to. Just looking to sell to someone that wants to take on the car at a discount. No leaks of any fluids. The car has always gotten it’s recommended servicing done at the respective times at BMW.

Car has it’s small dings and scratches here and there from being a used car. Nothing out of the ordinary though. Interiors is in great shape with no tears or rips or stains. No rust underneath. Selling it at a reasonable price for this issue. If you’re mechanic savvy or have BMW car experience and can take advantage of this discounted price and fix it and you’ll be good to go with a solid car at a discount. Again, I would not drive the car far so bring a trailer or call a tow truck if interested. Can assist with that as well if needed as I have AAA.
