2001 Toyota Corolla 4 Cylinders R 1.8L MFI DOHC 107 CID
We currently drive at least 30 miles daily with this vehicle and have never had to work on its engine.
Since we have it, we have replaced the cv shaft, bearings, tie rods, and struts. Now the alignment shop told me I needed new tie rods for the new alignment. We have also put a new battery in it about a year ago.
It has some annoying issues like AC is weak and failing, doors won’t open from inside the car, and some problem with the evap, so it keeps shutting the gas pump off, requiring some patience to fuel up.
The engine light has been on since I got it, and the last time we checked, the codes mentioned catalytic converter and evap.
