Freshly rebuilt turbo with quality parts, done less than 100 miles ago
All new silicon boost tubes
New recirculating valve (more efficient than the stock one)
MSD ignition coil
New NGK spark plugs and wires
New Bosch distributor cap and rotor
New Bosch mass air sensor
New fuel pump a year ago
Slightly larger "blue" fuel injectors from a S60R I believe
4 brand new tires very good & grippy, less than 10k miles.
PCV job done within the last 1000 miles
Upgraded black plastic weather stripping (runs up edges of windshield and along top of car) from a Volvo V70
Windshield sprayers also from a Volvo V70.
Catalytic converter deleted
Bad:
I think it has a bad head gasket but I dont know for sure. Coolant leaks out from the radiator overflow tank, and the temp runs a little hot. Pretty heavy leak when driving hard, but if you go easy on it you could drive it home.
Odometer stopped working several thousand miles ago, digital trip meters still work. Odometer reads 198k, I estimate the car has 205k.
Hood doesnt quite close all the way, I have replacement hood latches that I never got around to installing.
Drivers seat recline function is difficult to adjust and slow, but it can be adjusted. Passenger seat works well after I did the cable fix.
Drivers side rear door electronic lock doesnt work, but the door can be locked and unlocked manually.
Trunk latch is a little sticky
Bumper has some damage and cracks from winter driving, happened before I owned the car
Exhaust smokes a little bit until its fully warmed up, the Volvo dealership told me it's most likely valve stem seals.
Catalytic converter deleted
I've put a lot of work and money into improving and fixing this car but it's time for someone else to pick up the project where I left off. It's been a good car to me and has never left me stranded.
Car has a clean title, no accidents.
