Vehicle Description
Selling my 1991 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 4x4. It has a TBI 350 and an automatic 700r4 transmission. Manual locking front hubs. Runs and drives good, transmission was rebuilt by a shop 8/12/21 @ 176,669 miles. While they were rebuilding the transmission I had them replace the rear main seal (have receipts). Had a muffler shop install a new catalytic converter and muffler the next week so it shouldn't have any issues passing smog. Was driving it until the registration ran out and decided to daily drive my other vehicle instead of renewing registration. Currently it only has one battery hooked up but the previous owner installed a second battery tray and switch so it can run off of either battery independently or both at the same time. I've owned it since May 2018 and have the previous owners folder full of records as well as the original owners manual. Wouldn't sell it but it's just taking up space and collecting dust.
Here is a list of all the negatives/ things it needs that I can think of so there's no surprises
Has a "rebuilt" title (was like that when I got it)
Paint is in bad shape and chipping
The rims aren't all matching
Air conditioning doesn't work, I have the entire AC overhaul kit with new compressor and everything needed to get it going just never installed it.
It has a slight stumble/misfire, I have a new cap and rotor for it I never got around to installing
Power steering has a slow leak
Drivers side wing window has no glass so is just duct taped over
Passenger seat broke so I pulled it out and never put it back in so it's been sitting outside for a few months
Needs new weather-stripping
Front passenger window doesn't go up and down by itself, need one person to hit the button while you pull the window up or down
Both front door locks fell inside the doors so at the moment you need to manually use the key to lock and unlock the doors.
The rear barn door is missing the door handle button
(It no longer has the sun visor the pictures are a couple years old I'll take some pictures and update them tomorrow)
