1990 Mercedes 300SL Roadster
96018 documented miles
3.0 liter inline 6 engine
Automatic transmission
2 minor issues: Roof rollbar stuck in upright position (rollbar and both windows are integrated via roof controler preventing proper operation of convertible top)
Fortunately soft top can be open and closed very easily manually)
Roof hydraulics retain full pressure and there are no leaks.
Driver seat stuck in comfortable driving position if you're between 5'8"- 6'3".
Faulty seat controller located under the seat needs replacement.
The Benz was in storage last 3 years and obviously in need of being road worthy before posting for sale.
As of today the following parts and components have been professionally installed:
New Fuel distributor unit and throttle body
New convertible top
Climate control service (ice cold AC)
Ignition coil, spark plugs and wires replacement
Transmission service
New Front Wheels bearings and brakes
as well as suspension work.
Brand new Michelin tires all around
Mobil 1 0W40 synthetic oil and filter
Air filter
Pioneer stereo w/Pandora, Spotify, AUX, Blue tooth compatible and CD player)
New Battery
Car is very solid with superb handling. It runs like new and can be driven any distance.
Absolutely NO rust anywhere.not too common for a 32 year old
Hard top included.
