Along the way, I was actually fortunate enough to run into individuals that knew the previous owner of the van and learned that this van has seen it all. The van's body was recently professionally restored which included cutting out all possible rust in the body, which was replaced with Volkswagen factory-grade body metal. Following this, a triple-layer paint coat of VW factory beige and brown paint was applied with smooth finish chip-guard.
