All original 1978 Mercedes Benz 450 SLC, third owner with only 87K miles since new. Mechanically as solid as they come. In the past 10K miles it's received: new timing chain, updated climate control ECU with new AC compressor (blows cold), refurbished intake manifold, new plugs, new alternator, new muffler, new rotors and pads, all vacuum lines cleared and working, new fuel delivery system (fuel filter, fuel pump and fuel accumulator), refurbished telescoping aerial, both front window motors replaced, transmission serviced, new Michelin tires.in short there is nothing you can do to this vehicle to make it operate better than it already does. It starts instantly, runs strong and delivers power smoothly, especially at high speeds. Even the moon roof works perfectly.

Cosmetically, it needs some love. Paint and seats need refurbishment. The rear package tray needs to be reupholstered. Crack in the dash pad. Amazingly, the perforated leather headliner is like new. All the hard work has been done on this one, now it just needs some touch-ups.
