Beautiful resto mod, 5 year build, finished in March of 2021. Striking metallic dark blue paint, 2 stage, color sanded and buffed. This Vette has had a complete rebuild with new parts or rebuilt to like new. So many new parts it's virtually "NEW."

DETAILS:
The build was finished in March of 2021. Mileage stated is miles on the chassis. The rebuild has less than 2000 miles. It's a resto mod. Paint is 2 stage dark blue metallic, color sanded and buffed.
Engine was rebuilt by MJM Engines of Escondido. Is a 350 bored 30 over to 355 cubic inches. Built to stock in order to maintain vacuum to operate the headlight doors. All smog equipment removed. New Super Cool water pump, new radiator anode to reduce corrosion. New Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, new Edelbrock 1406, 650 carburetor, New chrome Thorley long tube headers. New HEI distributor with original style drive for the mechanical tach. New 8.5 MM MSD Super Spark plug wires. New spark plugs. New chrome dip stick. After market snorkel air cleaner. New alternator. New Borgeson Power steering pump and steering box. New rag joint. New hoses. New motor mounts. New trans tunnel foam heat seal. New engine wiring harness by Lectric Limited. New aluminum De Witts 4 core radiator with electric fans.
Transmission is 700r4 by Bowtie Transmissions. Has cooler, lock up torque converter, new converter canceling switch, new temp gauge. New driveshaft with new U joints.
Vintage Aire AC with heat and defrost. Has electronic controls that use the original Vette controls so still looks stock.
New: Vacuum hoses, valves, fittings, relays, and actuators for the pop up headlights with new override vacuum switch and headlight door open warning switches. Halogen headlight bulbs. New light bulbs through the car inside and out. New Optimum battery. New wiring harness from Lectric Limited for the front lights. Third brake light integrated into the rear license plate frame. The relays and/or switches for the electric windows, turn signals, hazard lights, alarm, courtesy lights are new.
New 1968 Vette gas tank, new sending unit, all new hoses, mounting straps, tank shield, anti squeak cushions, locking gas cap.
Refurbished exhaust system with "H" pipe and MagnaFlo mufflers. Thermo-Tec Insulating Graphite Black Legacy wrap on the exhaust pipes under the passenger compartment to keep things cool.
Interior has original gauges except for the new quartz clock. Rebuilt Speedometer/odometer. New carpet and logo floor mats. New door panels with woodgrain inserts. New window door felts and anti-rattle cushions. New rubber seals around doors and hood. New leather seat covers and seat foam. New sun visors. New seat release buttons. New seat release straps. New bezels. New drink holder. New Astro Vent plenum drain hoses. New console with wood grain accents. New day/night rearview mirror. New driver and passenger side view mirrors. New Kenwood stereo with 4 new Infinity speakers. New cruise control by Dakota Digital. New door latch handles inside and out. New automatic retracting radio antenna. New windshield wiper arms and blades.
Re-chromed front and rear bumpers, new front spoiler.
Brakes completely rebuilt with "O" ring calipers. New rotors, stainless steel hoses, master cylinder, pedal switch and rebuilt vacuum booster. Parking brakes rebuilt with stainless steel parts including cable, springs, levers, and pulley.
Rear suspension completely rebuilt with new "U" joints on the half shafts, new bushings on the strut rods and spring. The trailing arms were rebuilt. All with polyurethane bushings.
Hood is from a 1975 Vette in order to clear the Edelbrock intake manifold and carb. No other modifications to the exterior were made.
