1940 Ford 2 door Sedan Flathead V8 with only 73,000 original miles. Way back in the day this 40 Ford belonged to a Police Captain on the Police Force. First, it is a 1940 Ford Deluxe 2 door Sedan with the Flathead V8 engine with column shift manual transmission. It came with radio, heater, clock, has turn signals, Dual Manual spotlights, a Very Special Side Mirror, and plus regular side mirror. Newer additions. All new Speedway Motors 39 Lincoln Juice Brakes, new whitewall tires, an awesome set of 35 Lincoln Spoke Wheels, a new "Super Slider" front spring that lowers the front end 1 1/2 inches. New manual fuel pump, new electric fuel pump, new "Fenton" headers, new dual mufflers and exhaust front to rear with chrome tips. Many parts come with this 40. For one I have all new running board rubber for it. The 40 VINTAGE tags go with the car. The paint is fair. I don't know how old the paint job is.
